30th Anniversary Fund Grants

About this program

AAJA Seattle’s 30th Anniversary Fund offers mid-career AAJA Seattle members grants to advance their journalism and leadership careers, covering half the tuition for the Emerging Leaders Program or other AAJA-affiliated training and providing reimbursements up to $500 for other eligible programs. Eligible activities include master’s degree programs, professional programs, and workshops that build journalism or leadership skills. Awards are granted quarterly at the board’s discretion based on available funds; recipients may receive funding once every three years, and applicants denied in one quarter may reapply in subsequent quarters.
