4th World Media Lab Fellowship for Indigenous Storytellers

About this program

4th World Media Lab, in partnership with Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, and Camden International Film Festival, offers a year-long immersive fellowship that supports career development for emerging and mid-career Indigenous filmmakers and visual artists through festival participation, hands-on training, masterclasses, project workshopping, pitch activities, and meetings with funders and industry decision-makers. Fellowship activities take place at Big Sky (February 2025, Missoula, MT), Seattle International Film Festival (May 2025, Seattle, WA), and Camden International Film Festival (September 2025, Camden, ME). Applicants should be Indigenous storytellers (including those from Turtle Island and Pasifika) at an emerging or mid-career stage and must be available to participate in the three festival sessions in 2025.
