A Platform for Healthcare Data Integration Using Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence

The Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and emTRUTH offer support through an NSF-funded Phase II SBIR project to advance secure, interoperable critical care data management using blockchain and artificial intelligence. Two selected sites will receive $15,000 each, including indirect costs, to pilot data integration, deploy project-specific data connectors, and securely share de-identified data for research and analytics. Applicants must propose research questions relevant to critical care, with the principal investigator’s institution serving as the study’s lead site. Projects must be completed by September 15, 2025, and selected sites will collaborate with SCCM and emTRUTH under existing data-approval protocols.
