About this program
AAAI and ACM SIGAI jointly administer the annual AAAI/ACM SIGAI Doctoral Dissertation Award to recognize and encourage superior research and writing by doctoral candidates in artificial intelligence; the winner is announced at the AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence and invited to present a talk. The award honors outstanding PhD dissertations across AI subfields and is awarded following a yearly call for nominations. Eligible candidates are doctoral (PhD) researchers in AI whose dissertations are nominated for consideration under the AAAI/ACM SIGAI nomination and review procedures.
