AAAI/EAAI Patrick Henry Winston Outstanding Educator Award

About this program

AAAI together with the Educational Advances in Artificial Intelligence (EAAI) program awards the annual Patrick Henry Winston Outstanding Educator Award to individuals or teams who have made major, enduring contributions to AI education. The prize includes a certificate, a $1,000 honorarium, complimentary one‑year AAAI membership (new or renewal), and complimentary registration to the upcoming EAAI/AAAI conference where the award is presented. Eligible nominees are persons or groups whose work—such as innovative teaching methods, service to the AI education community, development of pedagogical resources, curriculum design, or outreach to K–12 learners or the general public—yields long‑lasting benefits to the AI community and society. Nominations are solicited annually; refer to the current call for nominations for deadlines and submission instructions.
