About this program

The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) offers grants supporting osteopathic medical education and institutional research, including pilot, quality-improvement, strategic-planning, and collaborative multi-institutional studies. Awards provide up to $5,000 for single-campus or small collaborative projects and up to $10,000 for larger studies, over a 24-month period. Principal investigators must be affiliated with a pre-accredited or accredited U.S. college of osteopathic medicine that is an AACOM member, or with an eligible developing COM participating in AACOM consulting programs. Proposals should demonstrate feasibility, innovation, relevance to AACOM’s strategic priorities, plans for dissemination and sustainability, and appropriate IRB documentation; the 2026 application cycle is closed.
