AAI Outreach Program — support for member-organized immunology meetings and young investigator awards

About this program

The American Association of Immunologists (AAI) Outreach Program provides grants to support career-development activities at volunteer-organized immunology meetings, including podium and poster presentation awards, student workshops, and career panels that benefit students and postdoctoral fellows. Eligible meetings must be organized on a volunteer basis by an AAI Regular, Associate, or Trainee member in good standing, prominently feature immunology, offer open registration (no institution- or employer-restricted attendance), and provide presentation opportunities for young investigators. Meetings organized or supported by corporations, universities/colleges, government entities, non‑profit member-based societies, or non‑profit meeting organizations are generally ineligible, internal department meetings/retreats are not supported, and AAI retains sole discretion to select recipients and determine funding levels.
