AAI Outreach Program

About this program

The American Association of Immunologists (AAI) Outreach Program funds career development activities that support young investigators and member volunteer efforts, including podium/poster awards, student workshops, and career sessions at member-organized immunology meetings. Support has been provided for abstract presentation awards and undergraduate/postdoctoral workshops at regional immunology conferences. Eligible meetings must be organized on a volunteer basis by an AAI Regular, Associate, or Trainee member in good standing, prominently feature immunology, offer open registration, and provide presentation opportunities for students and postdoctoral fellows; internal departmental meetings and most meetings organized or supported by corporations, universities, government entities, or non-profit societies are generally ineligible. AAI retains sole discretion to select recipients and determine levels of support.
