AALL Annual Meeting Grants

About this program

The American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) offers Annual Meeting Grants to provide financial assistance for experienced law librarians, newer professionals, and students to support participation in the AALL Annual Meeting and related professional development; funds are provided by AALL, its members, and vendors. Applicants must be AALL or AALL chapter members (including student members) and demonstrate involvement or promise in the law library field. Candidates may not have received an AALL grant in the past three years and must submit a complete application package including the application form, a current résumé, and two letters of recommendation addressing professional potential and need. Separate Experienced Member (five or more years of AALL/chapter membership) and Student/New Member (less than five years or student status) categories apply; the AALL 2026 Annual Meeting grant deadline has passed.
