About this program
The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) Foundation funds basic and translational research that advances knowledge and improves patient care in otolaryngic allergy. Proposals are reviewed twice annually, with deadlines of June 1 and December 1; award notifications are issued by August 1 and February 1, respectively. Any investigator may apply, provided the proposed research aligns with the Foundation’s otolaryngic allergy scope and is scientifically rigorous. Grant recipients must present their findings at an AAOA meeting and submit a resulting manuscript to the International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology.
