AAS Travel Awards — Mentored Research, T35, and New Investigator

About this program

The American Auditory Society (AAS) is offering Travel Awards to support attendance and presentation at the AAS annual meeting, including NIDCD‑funded Mentored Research Poster Presentation Awards ($1,000) for doctoral students and postdoctoral trainees, T35 Student Awards ($800) for AuD students who participated in NIDCD T35‑funded research at their institution, and an AAS‑funded New Investigator Travel Award (amount unspecified). Applicants must be presenting at the AAS meeting and submit an abstract, selecting the appropriate award category during submission; Mentored Research applicants must upload a mentor’s letter, T35 applicants must be affiliated with an institution holding an NIDCD T35 and have participated in its research, and New Investigator applicants must have completed a doctoral degree, post‑doc, or residency within the past five years (or be at a junior faculty level) and submit a CV listing current funding and degree/completion dates. Selections are competitive and made by the Program Abstract Review Committee, recipients must present their accepted paper (poster or podium) at the meeting, and individuals with disabilities and those from groups historically under‑represented in the biomedical sciences are especially encouraged to apply.
