AASP Dissertation Award

About this program

The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) offers its Dissertation Award to recognize an outstanding completed doctoral dissertation in sport, exercise, and/or health psychology. The recipient receives $1,000, complimentary registration for the AASP Annual Conference in the award year, and a conference-presented plaque. Applicants must be current AASP student members who have maintained membership for at least one additional year and must have completed their dissertation between January 1 and December 31, 2025. Applications are due April 15 and must include the full dissertation, original and blinded abstracts, a support letter, and documentation of final dissertation approval, with all files submitted as PDFs.
