AATK Regional Event Support Grant

About this program

The American Association of Teachers of Korean (AATK) offers the Regional Event Support Grant to subsidize student-involved regional events (e.g., speech contests, cultural performances, academic competitions) that promote collaboration among AATK-affiliated organizations, with awards up to $1,500 per event. Applications must be submitted by an AATK member for events involving at least three institutions and should focus on student-centered Korean language education. AATK may not be the sole funding source, priority is given to first-time applicants, and organizers must submit a post-event report (overview, participant list, and accounting of AATK funds) within one month for publication in the AATK Newsletter. Apply seasonally—Fall events by September 15, Spring events by February 15—by sending the AATK Regional Event Support Grant Application to Executive Secretary Dr. Bumyong Choi at executivesecretary@aatk.org and bumyongchoi@emory.edu.
