ACAHF Veterinary Research Grant

About this program

The Australian Companion Animal Health Foundation (ACAHF), a nonprofit trust of the Australian Veterinary Association, offers grants of up to $15,000 per project for research on the causes, prevention, and treatment of diseases in companion animals, principally cats and dogs. Funding supports direct research costs but excludes overheads, with applications assessed by an expert research committee. Veterinary applicants are preferred to be ASAV members, and university or institutional applicants must obtain relevant ethics committee approval; successful recipients must submit half-yearly progress and final completion reports. Applications close February 2, 2026.
