ACM A.M. Turing Award

About this program

ACM's A. M. Turing Award, funded by Google, is an annual $1,000,000 prize (plus travel to the awards banquet) presented each June for an individual's lasting, trend‑setting technical contributions to computing. Selection emphasizes a particular outstanding technical achievement with long‑term influence; nominations for the 2026 award are due December 15, 2026 (AoE). Nominations must be submitted online by a recognized member of the community (preferably not from the candidate's organization) and include a 500–1,000‑word nomination statement, a suggested 25‑word citation, the candidate’s CV, contact details, and 4–8 supporting letters; nominators and endorsers must complete ACM's Code of Ethics attestation and follow conflict‑of‑interest guidelines.
