Acorn Grants — seed grants for canine health research

About this program

The Canine Health Foundation (CHF) offers Acorn Grants of up to $30,000 to support small, short-term seed projects that generate preliminary data and launch new avenues in canine health research. These awards are intended to fund projects that can be completed in a shorter timeframe and help investigators test innovative ideas that will position them to pursue larger Oak Grants. Eligible applicants include research scientists, veterinary clinical scientists, or multidisciplinary collaborative teams proposing novel methods or studies addressing key canine health priorities, with projects falling within the grant cap and designed to produce preliminary data.
