ACP Travel Fund 2026

About this program

The Association of Clinical Pathologists offers the ACP Travel Fund 2026 (total allocation £7,000) to support Members—particularly Trainee Members—in attending scientific conferences or undertaking professionally relevant educational activities overseas; individual awards are generally up to £500 for UK activities or up to £1,000 for overseas activities at the Education Secretary’s discretion, and top‑up grants may be considered. Applicants must be ACP Members (trainees require their educational supervisor’s countersignature) and must demonstrate failure to obtain adequate funds from other sources; activities in the UK or Republic of Ireland are only eligible if other funding routes have failed or partially covered costs. Invited speakers and retrospective applications are normally ineligible, no more than three grants will be awarded to any one member, and applications are reviewed at quarterly Education Committee meetings (usually one grant per subspecialty per meeting). Successful applicants must submit a 1,000‑word report within six months for publication in ACP News or funding will be withdrawn; complete the ACP Travel Fund Application Form 2026 and email it to info@pathologists.org.uk.
