African Raptor Leadership Grant

About this program

The Raptor Research Foundation offers the African Raptor Leadership Research Grant to support new MSc or Honors students conducting raptor conservation research in their home African countries. Awards of up to $10,000, typically granted to two students annually, may cover tuition, accommodation, travel, research expenses, and related mentoring and training activities. Applicants must be students accepted—or able to document an application and eligibility—for an eligible program at APLORI in Nigeria, the University of Cape Town’s FitzPatrick Institute, or Mohammed V University in Rabat. Applications must include a CV, research proposal and budget, advisor information, two support letters, funding information, and leadership and mentoring statements; submissions in English or French are due June 30.
