AGECS Fellowship Program for Leadership and Change

About this program

Association of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies (AGECS) offers the AGECS Fellowship Program for Leadership and Change, providing individual fellowships of up to $10,000 to support 6–12 month projects that improve the quality of services for children from birth to five and advance understanding of child development, equity and professional leadership. Projects should deliver demonstrable impacts (e.g., improved program quality, strengthened practices, positive child outcomes, or new program directions) and recipients are expected to produce an article and a presentation sharing their learnings. Eligible applicants are individual AGECS members employed and/or working in the state of Victoria; awarded funds must be paid into the recipient’s personal bank account and the fellowship supports individual professional development (project need not take place in Victoria).
