Aging Biology Foundation - Epigenetics Research Grants

About this program

Nadace Aging Biology Foundation EU and Aging Biology Foundation (US), together with co-investors, fund hypothesis-driven research to elucidate core molecular mechanisms of epigenetic regulation—including transcription factor–chromatin interactions, histone modifications, DNA methylation, nuclear lamina–associated regulation, and site-specific de novo epigenetic changes—with priority for well-controlled developmental or differentiation contexts in mammalian systems. Grants range from $50,000 to $4,000,000 for projects lasting 6 months to 5 years; collaborative academic proposals and mouse-model studies are encouraged, and successful applicants may receive optional computational-methods support. Eligible applicants are established epigenetics researchers or investigators transitioning into epigenetics who can demonstrate access to the required infrastructure; applications begin with a 1–2 page concept note (research idea, key methods, timeline, budget and select references) sent anytime to grants@agingbiology.org. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal including project scope, outcomes, budget, institutional commitment letters and PI CVs; proposals are reviewed case-by-case with no fixed deadlines.
