Altrusa International of Madison Grants

About this program

Altrusa International of Madison, administered through the Madison Community Foundation, awards local grants of $1,000–$5,000 (average $1,200) to support service projects in education, literacy, workforce retraining, and lifelong learning. Priority is given to projects that help children and youth reach their educational potential, expand opportunities for adults returning to school or the workforce, promote school success leading to self-sufficiency, and foster parental involvement. Applications are accepted annually with a deadline in the first week of February; the 2026 portal is closed, so check the Altrusa Madison or MCF website for the 2027 application.
