Alzheimer’s Association Funding Program for Global Real-World Data Platforms (ALZ-RWD)

About this program

The Alzheimer’s Association offers the ALZ-RWD Research Grant to develop, expand, integrate, and analyze global real-world data platforms supporting advances in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia diagnosis, prevention, treatment, care, and health equity. Awards range from $100,000 to $1 million for 12–24 months, with no indirect costs, and may support platform infrastructure, data collection, collaboration, and dissemination. Eligible platforms must have international, national, or significant regional reach; collect real-world patient or healthcare data through registries or cohort studies; promote alignment with global platforms and ALZ-NET; share data through GAAIN; and demonstrate potential to advance health equity. Applicants must designate a full-time faculty member or paid employee of the submitting organization as principal investigator and complete a pre-submission inquiry before being invited to submit a full application.
