American Accounting Association/Deloitte Foundation Wildman Medal Award

The American Accounting Association, with support from the Deloitte Foundation, offers the Wildman Medal Award for research that has made or is likely to make a significant contribution to advancing public accountancy practice, including audit, tax, and management services. The annual award includes a medal and a $5,000 financial prize, with awards presented at the AAA Annual Meeting. Eligible works for the 2026 award must have appeared in print in a journal during 2021–2025, and at least one author must have been an AAA member as of February 1, 2026. Nominations may be submitted by any person or group by January 31 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time and must include the work, DOI, and a supporting letter of no more than 500 words.
