National Garden Clubs, Inc., in partnership with The AMES Companies, Inc., offers an in-kind tools grant for 2026 that provides NGC member garden clubs with garden tools (up to $250 retail value per club) for community garden or garden therapy projects, with a total of $5,000 in tools available. Eligible projects must be scheduled March 1 through September 30, 2026; projects may be joint ventures but the applying club must be an NGC member. Applicants should submit the Grant Application Form and Item Selection Sheet from the Resources & Forms section; awarded tools will be shipped by May 31, 2026, and many selections are suitable for children or gardeners preferring cushion-grip handles.
