About this program
The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) Meritorious Service Award recognizes members who have demonstrated exceptional, sustained service to AMP, its membership, and the molecular pathology profession. Recipients receive a certificate and letter of appreciation and are honored at the AMP Annual Meeting, on the AMP website, and potentially in the Journal of Molecular Diagnostics. Nominees, including self-nominations, must have been AMP members in good standing for at least five years, and their recognized service must be ongoing or recently concluded; current AMP Awards Committee members are ineligible. Nominations are accepted year-round, with submissions for each award cycle due April 10.
