Anne Harrison Award (Health Libraries Australia)

About this program

Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) Health Libraries Australia offers the Anne Harrison Award, providing up to $10,000 in 2026 to fund single research projects or professional development activities that advance health library and information services in Australia. Applicants are not required to be ALIA members or librarians, but current Award Administrators and HLA executive members are ineligible, and successful applicants may need institutional human research ethics approval before funds are released. Applications (email preferred) must address one project only and include project aims/methods, outputs, timeline, itemised budget and amount sought (≤ $10,000), two referees and CVs; awardees must submit progress reports every six months and a final report for publication, and funds may be withheld for unsatisfactory progress.
