Annual Funding

About this program

The John William Pope Foundation provides annual grants supporting public policy, education, human services, and the arts, with funding available for general operating or project-specific needs. Grants are awarded through spring and fall cycles, with 2026 deadlines of February 2 for public policy and higher education and August 3 for human services and arts. Public policy and education proposals must benefit North Carolina, while human services and arts proposals generally must benefit Wake or Vance Counties; applicants should submit online documentation including an IRS determination letter, recent Form 990, financial records, proposal, budget, and board information.
