Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions Travel Awards

About this program

The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) offers Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions Travel Awards to reduce financial barriers for eligible abstract presenters and support participation by emerging specialists and researchers. Type 1 awards provide registration and travel support of $500–$2,000 based on travel time, while Type 2 awards cover registration. Applicants must be ISHLT members, belong to an eligible group (clinical fellows, early-career researchers or scientists, medical students, or non-physicians), and be the presenting author of an accepted oral, mini-oral, or poster abstract, as applicable. Priority is given to higher-scoring abstracts and, in part, presenters from developing countries.
