About this program

The American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS) offers a broad program of awards, grants, prizes, and fellowships to support research, publication, conference travel and participation, pedagogy, mentorship, and editorial projects in eighteenth-century studies. Funding lines include travel and research grants, library and research fellowships, book/article/essay prizes, graduate-student and non‑tenure‑track support, teaching and mentorship awards, and editing/translation fellowships. Eligibility and application requirements vary by award and often target scholars at specific career stages (graduate students, NTTF, early- and mid-career researchers); applicants must consult the individual award pages for current submission instructions and deadlines and may direct questions to director@asecs.org.
