ANZSCDB Publication Award

About this program

The Australian and New Zealand Society for Cell and Developmental Biology (ANZSCDB) offers the ANZSCDB Publication Award to recognise outstanding graduate-student first‑author papers in Cell Biology and Developmental Biology, with up to two prizes per round consisting of a certificate and reimbursement of up to AU/NZ$250 to attend a Society meeting. Awards are judged by the ANZSCDB Committee and President on significance, quality and impact for papers published within the 18 months prior to the closing date, and may be withheld or shared at the Society’s discretion. Eligible applicants must be financial ANZSCDB members undertaking a higher research degree (or within 2 years full‑time equivalent of completion), be first or joint first author, and submit the accepted manuscript (or acceptance letter), a supervisor’s recommendation, a 100‑word significance statement, and a signed description of the applicant’s contribution with percentage contributions from corresponding author(s); one submission per category is permitted and supporting media coverage may be included.
