About this program

The AO Foundation, a nonprofit organization, offers the AO Trauma Latin America Research Mini Grants 2025 - Round 2 to support innovative projects in musculoskeletal trauma. These mini grants, up to CHF 5,000 each, are allocated for scientific services, with funds managed by the regional office and paid directly to providers. Eligibility is restricted to surgeons from AO clinical divisions who are 40 years or younger, residents of Latin America, AO active members, and within 10 years of completing their terminal degree or starting their first assistant professor position. Applicants must be enrolled in a residency or fellowship program or meet the specified career stage criteria.
