APS Grant for Intercultural and/or International Projects

About this program

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) offers a single-year $5,000 Grant for Intercultural and/or International Projects to support sustainable, social-impact initiatives that build links between APS members and psychology practitioners or community groups in developing, under-resourced, or emerging-psychology countries. Eligible projects address intercultural scientific or professional issues, provide education and training for target-community psychologists, foster collaborations to establish or strengthen scientific and professional psychology, or support psychologically significant humanitarian work; the grant is not intended primarily for research and student research is unlikely to be funded. Funds may be used for travel, living allowances, training fees, books, equipment and other approved project costs per an approved budget, and previous recipients may apply for additional extension funding which will be assessed alongside new applications under the same selection criteria.
