APsA Schools Committee Anna Freud Educational Achievement Award

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s Schools Committee, in partnership with the International Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies and Schools: Studies in Education, offers the annual Anna Freud Educational Achievement Award. The award recognizes psychoanalytically informed work with Pre-K–12 educators, schools, and students and includes a $1,000 honorarium presented at APsA’s National Meeting. Eligible applicants may include individuals, schools, educational institutions, and related organizations whose work involves collaboration between psychoanalysts and educators and incorporates ongoing learning, research, or program planning. Submissions must include a summary of no more than three pages and a curriculum vitae of no more than one page by December 1.
