APsA Schools Committee Anna Freud Educational Achievement Award

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s Schools Committee, in collaboration with the International Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies and Schools: Studies in Education, offers the annual Anna Freud Educational Achievement Award for psychoanalytically informed work with Pre-K–12 educators, schools, and students. The award includes a $1,000 honorarium and is presented at APsA’s National Meeting. Eligible submissions may come from schools, professional development centers, colleges, universities, or educational institutes and must demonstrate collaboration between psychoanalysts and educators, along with ongoing systematic learning, research, or program planning. Applicants must submit a summary of no more than three pages and a curriculum vitae of no more than one page by December 1.
