APsA Schools Committee Anna Freud Educational Achievement Award

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s Schools Committee, in collaboration with the International Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies and Schools: Studies in Education, offers the annual Anna Freud Educational Achievement Award for psychoanalytically informed work with Pre-K–12 educators, schools, and students. The award includes a $1,000 honorarium and is presented at APsA’s National Meeting. Eligible nominees may be individuals, schools, or educational institutions whose work involves collaboration between psychoanalysts and educators and includes ongoing systematic learning, research, or program planning. Submissions are due December 1 and must include a work summary of no more than three pages and a curriculum vitae of no more than one page.
