ARAV Conservation of Reptiles & Amphibians Grant

About this program

The Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV) offers a $1,500 grant to support local, national, and international conservation projects involving reptiles and amphibians. Eligible projects may address captive management, sustainability, anti-poaching, wildlife management, ecosystem health, conservation education, or water-related initiatives. Proposals are evaluated for scientific value, conservation relevance, and feasibility, with preference given to ARAV members; projects should be completed within 12 months with semi-annual updates. Applications are due annually by January 15, and recipients must present results at the ARAV annual conference or publish them in the Journal of Herpetological Medicine and Surgery.
