About this program
The American Folklore Society’s Public Programs Section offers three $500 Archie Green Student Travel Awards to support travel to the AFS annual meeting. The awards honor folklorist and activist Archie Green and support undergraduate and graduate students interested in public folklore practice or research. Applicants must submit a CV, a two-page statement describing their interests and meeting goals, an anticipated-expense budget, and a letter of support from a faculty member or public folklorist by June 15.
