Arnold Bentley Fund - support for interdisciplinary initiatives in psychology of music and music education

About this program

Sempre (formerly SRPMME) offers the Arnold Bentley Fund to support new interdisciplinary initiatives advancing research in the psychology of music or music education, funding projects, conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions or publications with awards up to £3,000. Applications are assessed by the Sempre Awards Panel on quality, originality, significance and the likelihood that applicants cannot obtain funding elsewhere, with decisions normally notified within six weeks and awards to be taken up within 12 months. Eligibility is open to anyone working within the Society’s aims; less established or new researchers are normally expected to supply the name of an academic referee. Applicants must complete the downloadable application form and send it to the Sempre Secretary, and successful recipients are required to submit a brief report (including any ethically approved images) for the Sempre website.
