Arnold Shultz Fund Grant (IBMA Foundation) — Rhiannon Giddens Fellowship

About this program

The IBMA Foundation’s Arnold Shultz Fund supports bluegrass-related arts, culture, education, literary work, and historic preservation and in 2026 awarded one of 13 grants to The Schwarzman Centre at the University of Oxford to host Rhiannon Giddens as inaugural Cultural Fellow for 2025–26, producing research articles, student and public performances, and published materials to be shared with the Foundation. Activities include public events such as a June 2026 concert with Giddens and Cécile McLorin Salvant exploring the Great American Songbook. Qualified individual applicants and institutions may apply; prospective applicants may inquire year‑round for case‑by‑case support and the next application deadline is 31 January 2027.
