Art of Science Image Contest

About this program

The Biophysical Society’s Art of Science Image Contest invites members attending the 2027 Annual Meeting to showcase artistic and scientifically significant images derived from biophysical research. Finalists will have their work displayed at the meeting, with attendee-voted prizes of $500, $300, and $200 for first, second, and third place, respectively. Eligible images may use any imaging technique or combine multiple images, but must be connected to biophysical research; submissions will be accepted November 2–December 1, 2026.
