About this program
VIA Art Fund offers Artistic Production Grants to support new artistic commissions in public or non-traditional exhibition spaces, emphasizing artistic production, thought leadership, and public engagement. Grants range from $25,000 to $100,000, with higher amounts for permanent or long-term installations. Eligibility requires a confirmed artist and venue, with specific rules for U.S. and international projects. Applicants must be individual artists, nonprofit organizations, cultural institutions, art production platforms, or biennials/festivals working in contemporary art, with nonprofit entities providing proof of status and previous grantees adhering to reapplication timelines.
