About this program

The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation offers grants to arts organizations in North Carolina's Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake counties, aiming to support both established and emerging arts institutions. To be eligible, organizations must demonstrate artistic excellence, elevate the local art scene, and directly support artists by enhancing their talent, promoting their work, and developing their professional skills. Applicants should have a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, a budget under $2 million, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
