ASCC IFSCC Travel Award (reimbursement for attendance at IFSCC Congress)

About this program

The Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ASCC) offers the ASCC IFSCC Travel Award to reimburse eligible expenses for a speaker from Australia or New Zealand to attend an IFSCC Congress, intended to support members with an accepted poster or podium presentation. Applicants must be residents of Australia or New Zealand, have conducted the research in Australia or New Zealand, be current ASCC financial members, and be the presenting author (only one presenting author is eligible). Funding is discretionary and reimburses eligible documented economy airfares, accommodation, congress registration and incidentals based on a Scientific Points guide (poster = 2 points, podium = 5 points; reduced to 1 and 2.5 points for local congresses), at up to AUD $1,000 per point capped at 5 points (maximum AUD $5,000). Awards are processed after formal application review and ASCC Council approval, require submission of receipts via the ASCC expense claim process, and no application deadline is specified.
