ASEEES Internship Grant Program

About this program

The Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) offers Internship Grants to support unpaid or underpaid internships related broadly to Russia, including work in government, nonprofits, business, media, arts, and other nonacademic sectors. Awards provide $2,000 per month for two- or four-month internships, which must generally involve 20–25 hours per week and take place in the United States, including approved remote placements. Eligible applicants are incoming, current, or recent graduate or professional-school students specializing in Russian studies at a U.S. institution, or U.S. citizens studying abroad, and must have an internship offer when applying. Applicants must submit career objectives, an internship description, host confirmation, a CV or résumé, transcripts or proof of matriculation, and one reference letter by May 1 at 11:59 p.m. Hawaii Time.
