ASI Carer's Grants: Branch Meetings and Annual Scientific Meeting

About this program

The Australasian Society for Immunology (ASI) offers Carer's Grants to reimburse additional care-related expenses that enable primary carers to attend ASI Branch Meetings or the ASI Annual Scientific Meeting (does not cover ordinary care, meeting registration, or meeting travel), with awards up to AUD 500 for Branch Meetings and up to AUD 1,000 for the Annual Scientific Meeting. Eligible applicants are current ASI members who are the primary carer of a dependent and/or dependent children of primary-school age or younger; awards are selected by the ASI Executive Committee based on application quality and likely professional benefit. Applicants must download the appropriate Carer's Grant form, save and submit it via their member profile per the naming/submission instructions; Branch Meeting grants are open year-round while Annual Meeting rounds align with conference abstract deadlines, and recipients must claim reimbursement through their profile and contribute to the ASI Newsletter after travel.
