ASP Conservation Small Grant

About this program

The American Society of Primatologists offers Conservation Small Grants of up to $3,500 for primate conservation research, conservation education, and related projects, particularly those involving habitat-country researchers and local communities. Applications open January 1 and are due March 1, with awards announced May 1. Applicants must be ASP members; projects may not request salary support, indirect costs, or publishing fees, and must obtain required permits and institutional or equivalent ethical approval before funds are released. Students must submit one academic recommendation letter within two weeks after the application deadline and recipients must provide a brief report within six months of project completion.
