ASRM Medical Student Research Grant

About this program

The American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM) offers up to $2,500 for a three-month summer research project in microsurgery or reconstructive surgery, conducted between a medical student’s first and second years. Applicants must be medical students at U.S. or Canadian institutions, and the principal investigator must be an active ASRM member. Recipients must present their findings at the subsequent ASRM Annual Meeting, submit an article to the ASRM newsletter, and attend the meeting, with travel and lodging funded by their institution or program; applications are due April 1.
