ASRT Foundation Research Grants

About this program

ASRT Foundation offers research grants of up to $25,000 to support innovative projects that strengthen the radiologic technology profession and cultivate new researchers in medical imaging and radiation therapy. Applications are accepted continuously and reviewed in two annual cycles (Spring: LOI Nov 1, full proposal Jan 1, decision Jun 1; Fall: LOI May 1, full proposal Jul 1, decision Dec 1). Eligible applicants are ASRT members with research experience who are medical imaging or radiation therapy professionals; applicants must submit the Research Grant Application and Letter of Intent Form via email to foundation@asrt.org. Proposals are evaluated on significance to the profession, investigator qualifications, adequate protocols and assurances, awareness of existing literature, a reasonable/comprehensive budget, and sound methodology.
