Award of Excellence in Reproductive Medicine

About this program

Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society’s Award of Excellence in Reproductive Medicine recognizes a CFAS member for outstanding contributions and leadership in reproductive medicine and science across research, clinical practice, teaching and consulting. Candidates are evaluated for innovation and scholarship, translation of experimental/clinical results for societal benefit, dissemination of findings, mentorship and substantial administrative or professional service. Nominees must have been CFAS members in good standing for at least five years, with the majority of their work conducted in Canada; the nominator and seconder must also be CFAS members in good standing. Nominations require a completed form, candidate summary/biography/CV and evidence of eligibility (testimonials, evaluations or descriptive materials), with optional letters of support; the Awards Committee reviews submissions (by July 15) and the Board must unanimously approve the recipient, and may decline to grant the award in any year.
