Baltes Distinguished Research Achievement Award

Sponsored by APA Division 20, the Baltes Distinguished Research Achievement Award recognizes a distinguished career and outstanding theoretical and empirical contributions to the psychological science of aging. The recipient receives a $5,000 cash award, is honored at the annual APA convention, and delivers the Baltes DRA Award Address the following year. Nominees must be current Division 20 members or affiliates with an exceptional career record in aging research. Nominations are due April 15, 2027, and must include a nomination letter from a Division 20 member, the nominee’s current CV, and at least two additional support letters, including one from a Division 20 member.
